Day 55 (Wednesday)

It must’ve been one of those days where the importance of an event alone could alter the normal dimension of time before its beginning. Every second of my working hours seemed to tick by as impatiently as I was. I even showed no sympathy at all to their bullshit claim about lacking manpower by rejecting their ‘request’ (more like forcing -.-) to work until 11pm (it was 7.30pm already) with a rather sullen expression =/ I texted the guys to get ready while I rushed back home to have my dinner with Mun Hon.

Ka Fai and Yu Bin were already at 7-11 when we arrived, followed by Kok Choon (whom I expect to be the earliest to show up since he lives the nearest -.-). Then we had to wait until minutes before 9pm before taking off, no thanks to Jian Shen’s delay at TTC zzz…

It was just a half an hour ride before we had to take a break at a pit stop for half an hour to let my Proton ‘Wira’ (ironic name huh ._.) cool down, because the last time it let my family down (while we were travelling up North to Penang to attend my elder sister’s university graduation convocation), it cost my dad RM1300 just for the maintenance fees -.- So I wouldn’t take any chance in risking, not even Yu Bin’s constant teasing at the antique he was riding on throughout the journey could flinch my cautious measure >_>

We continued our journey to LCCT by just following the arrowhead on the signboard along the highway. Then the four-wheeled finally gave in around 10.30pm and we had to make an emergency stop beside the highway. While we were enjoying the night breeze (so as the heating engine), She called up and informed us that She was already there - half an hour earlier than the SkyBus schedule (Hock Eu too, who went on the same bus as Her after we last saw him before departing -.-). Another 20 minutes or so, and we finally made it =.=

Viewing the once familiar grand entrance, it brought back sad memory of mine which saw the reluctant me checked in at this very place for my National Service at Bau, Sarawak almost 2 years ago. Ignoring the brief spasm of emotion, we went searching for Her, and eventually gather together (Crystal + 2 girl friends + our boy gang + Her dad o.o) at the nearby McDonald place.

Almost an hour of photo session (which I normally would avoid lol) and bidding farewell chats, their dad already started to urge them to go through to the boarding place (not even 12.30a.m also) ._. the super creative gang then decided to form a line in front of us (Her dad in front) as the screening wall, and we of course took our chance to have our last touch of lips. More hugs and wishes from the gang, and everything went blank as I saw Her waving Her last goodbye before disappearing from our sight.

I could neither describe how I was feeling at that moment, nor predict what I would feel in the future. But one thing I’m sure of – I will always love You, even far across the distance =)

a gift from Her =)
